  • Dear Piscataway Family,

The word “Thanksgiving” is an expression of gratitude that we demonstrate to others, as a form of celebration or acknowledgement. As we embark on our Thanksgiving Holiday, one of the gifts that am thankful for is the tremendous introduction I have gotten to our district in my first week in the superintendent’s position. It has been wonderful to learn about our schools and programs, and start to get to know our dedicated staff, students, and families.

I want to wish everyone a joyous holiday break as we take time with friends and loved ones to celebrate our good fortune. Please remember and reach out to our neighbors who may be facing difficult times, feeling alone, or struggling in other ways this Thanksgiving. Love the gifts of life and spread positive energy to others so that you make an impact on the lives of those you love.

    Thank you and enjoy!

  • Dear Piscataway Family,

It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I introduce myself as your new Superintendent of Schools. I want to thank the Piscataway Board of Education for their confidence in my leadership, and I am delighted to join a district with such a strong record of performance and commitment to students and families.

For more than 30 years, I have devoted my career to serving students, most recently as superintendent of Hillside Public Schools. These experiences have prepared me for this next chapter in Piscataway.

As superintendent, I believe strongly in partnership. I have already begun to meet with the talented educators and leaders who make up this district, and I am eager to work alongside them. I look forward to engaging with families, staff, students, and community. Your voices matter, and you will always have a place at the table as we shape the future of Piscataway Township Schools.

To our students and families: I assure you that you will have every ounce of my energy and attention. Each day, I will reflect on how we can do better, grow stronger, and expand opportunities for every learner. It is an honor to serve a community with such pride and promise, and I will work tirelessly to uphold the reputation of this exceptional district.

I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to Interim Superintendent Dr. Johanna S. Ruberto for her leadership and assistance during this period of transition, as well as to Dr. Frank Ranelli for his years of service to the district.

I am thrilled to begin this journey with you. Together, we will build on Piscataway’s strong foundation and move confidently into the next chapter of excellence.

    Thank you.
