In order to be eligible to attend Kindergarten in September 2025, your child must be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2025. (No exceptions)

Pre-Registration begins on April 7, 2025

Pre-registration process will open Monday, April 7, 2025, on our website. Click on the application link for Grade K 2025-2026 school year and complete.

Caution: If you complete this process before April 7, 2025, your pre-registration will be deleted, and you will have to complete the process again when it officially opens on April 7, 2025.

Registration begins on April 14, 2025

All families that have completed the pre-registration online will receive further communication on how to complete the registration for your child. You will have the option to complete the registration virtually, or you can schedule an in-person appointment. 

We will begin our in-person appointment schedule on May 5, 2025. No walk-ins will be permitted due to time constraints. You must have an appointment to complete the registration in-person.

Required for all registrants

• Homeowners: Current Property Tax/Sewer Bill or Deed
• Renters: Current Lease (If your lease expires before the start of the school year, you will be required to submit a new one before your child is permitted to start school.)

The following documents are also required:

• Student’s original birth certificate and/or passport – no exceptions.
• Immunization records (must be in English and on physician’s letterhead)
• Copy of child’s latest physical
• Photo ID (of parent) – driver’s license, passport, work ID, county ID, etc. (If the ID has the current Piscataway address it will also count as one residency item.)
• At least THREE (3) additional residency items, which include the parent’s name and reflect the current Piscataway address such as: PSE&G bill, cable bill, phone bill, bank statement, paycheck stub, credit card statement, state agency documents, etc.
• All bills/statements must be dated within 30 days. Name, date, and address must all be visible - Pictures of envelopes, advertisements/fliers, or personal letters will not be accepted
• Proof of custody (if parents are not living together)
