Board honors Quibbletown students for campaign of kindness

Thank you to students from Quibbletown Middle School students for sharing your mission to spread kindness with our Board of Education!

The Quibbletown “Kindness Crew” shared information at the Oct. 8 Board meeting about the projects they are undertaking to inspire students and staff to practice kindness toward themselves and others. They discussed school-wide bulletin board projects, words of respect, and kindness prompts. They made their presentation during the Week of Respect, which our students and staff observe throughout the district.

Kindness Crew advisers Krishna Daria and Lauren Leon and students Chloe Stanton and Amari Gayle were recognized by Superintendent Erskine R. Glover, Board President Nancy Salgado-Cowan, and Board Member Loretta Rivers, liaison to Quibbletown. They were introduced and supported at the meeting by Principal William Gonzalez.
