Lissette Moran's class at Children's Corner Preschool-Pond showed their big hearts by putting together a care package for Schor Middle School 7th grader Omar Danso, who is battling kidney failure and is need of a transplant. They sent snacks, drinks, and a duffel bag of gifts to make him know he's loved. Omar was formerly a student at King, Knollwood, and Eisenhower schools, and all of Piscataway is rallying behind him. A Day of Fun is planned for April 26, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Riverside Park in Piscataway to celebrate Omar and raise awareness of his fight and the great need for life-saving organ donations.
