PHS and middle schools hear facts on drugs, online awareness

Posted Date: 4/18/25 (2:00 PM)

Thanks to Professor Doug Collier for enlightening presentations to Piscataway High School and all three middle schools the week of April 7 to help keep our students safe! Professor Collier, from the Monmouth University Criminal Justice Department, gave engaging grade-level presentations on cyberbullying, social media awareness, marijuana, smoking, and vaping. His visits were made possible by Rosemarie Rivoli of the Piscataway Township Municipal Alliance, who was joined at the presentations by Mayor Brian Wahler and other township officials, as well as Interim Superintendent Dr. Johanna S. Ruberto, Assistant Superintendent of Schools Dr. Glenn Lottmann, and our school principals. Professor Collier, a former agent with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, will deliver a presentation on similar topics directed to Grades 5-12 parents on April 29, 6:30 p.m., at the PHS PAC. #PwayCares #PwayInspires
