Community Based Instruction & S.A.I.L. Program
CBI: The mission of Community Based Instruction is to strive to prepare students to be confident, productive members of a global society by developing each child's unique abilities in multiple learning environments.
  • We will strive to become independent, productive citizens.
  • We will learn how to live on our own, how to get along with others and how to become active members of our communities.
  • We will participate in career exploration. This will help us to determine our future goals in continuing education and/or gainful employment.
  • We will learn to be respectful, supportive and encouraging in a safe and nurturing environment.

SAIL: Life long learning continues at SAIL. The program provides functional literacy, mathematics, a vocations course and PE to support the transition of learners from a traditional school environment to the world of work.
