On Thursday, December 4, third grade students at Grandview Elementary School coupled Robotic/S.T.E.M. with Hour of Code. The students made soccer goal keepers from Legos and animated them with a computer program, pulleys and motors. During the Hour of Code, students learned and developed their computer science skills by practicing algorithms through game-based learning. Parents participated with their children and were very impressed with their coding skills.
